Great BFS Rod

I was waiting to catch a nice bass before I did a review. I put a Flight Feather Cormorant reel on this rod.It weighs a whopping 7.5 ounces as a combo. Rod is crazy sensitive and much stronger than its UL rating. Very happy with the rod. Caught this bass today on this combo. I now own eight Old 18 rods.

Absolutely LOVE IT! Performs so good I just fell in love. It’s an 7’ ultralight but feels strong with a good backbone. SO SENSITIVE!!! Took it out fishing a Ned Rig and was AMAZED! Caught 5 bass of 3 different species! You can feel the slightest bite and it handles the fish so well! I’m very pleased:) HIGHLY RECOMMEND! LOVE HOW NICE THE PACKAGING WAS AS WELL!! Product came in an indestructible cardboard tube the 7-footer rips lip like a **** ..... haven't trout fished in 20 years but I am hooked meow.

Great rod will be getting another

I bought this rod for BFS bass fishing. It is excellent ! Great sensitivity for bottom contact, but flexes enough for reaction baits.
The Winn grips are a pleasant bonus. This rod is a joy to use and I would recommend it to anyone. Quality is top notch and so is Old 18's service.

I absolutely love this rod!

I've been fishing with this Kinetic rod for several months and it is truly impressive. It is extremely light, which makes it easy to cast all day long, yet strong enough to handle any of the inshore species in Tampa Bay. This rod is also exceptionally sensitive, it is able to detect the slightest of bites.
